The Boomerz Best set comes with a dog collar, as I call it a human collar, a leash, treats, a bowl and a dog whistle. I was surprised at how well the dog collar fit, even with my dogs fluffy fur. It also fit the human too, a lot better than I was expecting.

I do definitely think the set works, it is nice not having to constantly fight with my wrist and my dog. He has enjoyed it, and it seems like it will last quite a long time. The reflectiveness is extremely nice, since the best time to take the dog out seems to be after dark (not as many people out and about and he gets so excited about people!).

Construction Toy Tools Review

The construction toy tools are pretty cute. It comes with 4 screws, 4 nuts, 2 plates, 1 multi-tool, a file, and construction apparel. The construction apparel consists of a nose mask, goggles, and a construction hat. Each piece barring the two tools is a very bright yellow, fitting with the construction theme. The handle for the file is red, and the multi tool is gray. The four screws are black and the 4 nuts are gray.

Construction Hat

The construction hat does not have really any way to secure onto the child (or adult’s head) but it does seem to stay somewhat well. I know it makes it easy for my twins to take it off of each other’s heads though!

Construction Goggles

These looked so cute on both my twins. But I think what elicited the greatest of laughs was when I wore this, they both could not stop laughing at me. It was a snug fit around my head, definitely suited for more of a toddler sized head such as my twins, but it definitely fit well. Easy to see out of, but smudges a little bit easier than I expected.

Construction Mask

This was a piece that we had fun with. We did more “Star Wars” impersonations than anything else with this mask, I think the concept of this was more funny for the adults, both of my toddlers were just kind of confused over this piece.

Plates

The plates gives a way to secure the screws and nuts once they have been tightened. The perfect size, and the plates allow for multiple combinations with the screws instead of just 4 holes to equal the 4 screws. I will say, the rectangular plate was a little bit bent upon arrival, but it did not affect the play ability of the plates.

Screws and Nuts

There are 4 screws and 4 nuts. I have only 3 nuts pictured because my cat decided one of them was a toy and who knows where it ended up. So I can say that this set has been fun for the entire family, because not only did the toddlers and the parents have fun, but the cat had fun losing pieces for us!

Multi-Tool

The multi-tool has 3 ends. A flat head, a Phillips, and another end. I’d never really dealt with the third end, but my husband says it’s the same style as if you were changing a tire (something I have not ever really done). All 3 ends worked well with the screws and the nuts  and the handles were short, perfect for little toddlers’ hands.

File

This piece is more for show than anything else. It does have a bit of a scritchy noise to it when my finger nail is run along it, but other than that, it is just a pretty little piece of plastic. The file does detach from the handle, but it truly is the odd piece out in this set.

Overall, it has been a nice set, I know the twins have enjoyed playing with it (with supervision) and the adults, even the cat have enjoyed it too. I do recommend this set.

Birthstone Necklace Review

My birthstone is sapphire. So naturally, I chose the vivid blue sapphire as my birthstone necklace on the listing. I want to start by saying, this is more a choker than a necklace. When I think of a necklace, I think of something that drapes down and at least goes a little bit past my collar bone.

The Amazon listing does have all 12 months listed (although they are in alphabetical, not chronological order). It comes in 2 other colors besides the birthstones, aurora boreal and vitrial medium. Both are stones that change color depending on the lighting.

The birthstone necklace that I received, September is very pretty in my opinion. It also has a hefty weight to it. I was expecting this necklace to be dainty and frail, but no, this necklace fills up a good portion of my palm and feels very solid.

The chain that the necklace comes with is as I said, more a choker length than a necklace length. I do like the chain though, except for one little part. The chain link that is in the back, that is supposed to help keep the back of the necklace in the back (I don’t know the correct terminology) has a little bit of a snag. It was a pretty easy fix, but one of the links look liked it was not supposed to be there. It had been clipped yet was still attached to the chain, causing two little points to jut from it. I found it easy enough to remove but I just wanted to caution on it before you wear it, it can be a bit prickly if you happen to have one with an extra little bit of link that should have been removed.

Overall, it is a very beautiful birthstone necklace. It has a hefty weight to it, and it is a decent size. The chain is more choker length than necklace length. I do definitely recommend this, the September necklace that I received is absolutely gorgeous and pictures do not do it justice.

LED Lights Review

I love how easy this was to set up. No batteries or anything extremely complicated. Below this, what you see is what you get. You get the LED lights strand, a way to plug into an outlet, and each come in a separate thing. The lights came in the white bag, the power cord in the box. Both were inside a nondescript brown box.

What I thought was really cool about this, is the fact that the lights can be hung up, and the power cord plugged into the wall, and the lights will not instantly be lit up. This is nice for hard to reach outlets, because having to pull out the power cord whenever I want lights off would not be very feasible with some of them. The way to turn the lights on and off is to attach the plug from the lights to the end of the power cord. It slides in easily enough, and you can do it one-handed.

The lights themselves come very tightly coiled, and I rather like the effect when they are plugged in like this. It also looks like a crown with lights (if my head were that small, I might just have tried to wear it!). In all seriousness though, it does put off a pretty beautiful display even when all coiled up.

The LED lights all check out, when I uncoiled it and strung it around, I inspected each and every light. They all shined brightly, even in a lit room.

Overall, yes I would definitely recommend these, they have been a beautiful addition to my lighting, and it certainly creates a warm glow to a room.

Keyholder Review

This is definitely what I was expecting when I got this. It allows for expansion to hold several keys, but it also is set to hold a very minimal amount. This easily holds all the keys that my husband needs to carry, and it takes up a lot less space in his pocket than when his keys are on his ring. His keys resemble that of a janitor's, big, bulky, and I personally think way too many. Each key has a purpose though and must be carried. So the fact that this helps organize that is really nice. It also would work well for me, where I only have a few keys that need to be contained. I just would adjust it to my individual key usage.

Plush Easter by Prextex Review

This is a super soft plush Easter basket. The basket itself is attached to the large and fluffy rabbit. Inside the basket is a soft duck and an egg. The egg is nestled between the wings of the duck on its back. Definitely a cute little set to give as a gift to someone, especially for someone like my twins who are a little bit younger. I could not resist and gave it to them before Easter, and it has been a huge hit. Stuffed anything is all the rage for my twins right now, and they let me know if I take a stuffed animal away too soon!

Below is the entire set, the rabbit with the basket, the duck and the egg.

Below is a view from the top to try and show how the duck has the egg nestled on its back.

Below is the rabbit and the basket by itself. This would make a good prop for if you wanted to have something else inside the basket, for the duck and the egg are fine standing up on their own.

Below is the duck, probably the least “plush” part of this set, and still incredibly soft.

Next, below is the egg. It didn’t want to stand up totally on its own, so I have it lying on its side.

Overall, a very cute plush Easter set, I know my twins have really enjoyed it, and it certainly is a great alternative to getting a real duck, or rabbit. Especially for the younger kids, such as mine, who are nowhere near that sort of responsibility yet.

I definitely do recommend this, very cute, and I just might get another before Easter hits so they can both have a set.

Kids Robe for Boys Review

I did get the size 3-6, and my twins are obviously not that size. Currently (in the pictures) my twins are 19 months old, and about 31-32 inches in height. The robe drapes across the bottom of their feet when standing, and the sleeves are too long. But I have 2 19 month old boys, not 2 36 month old boys (3 year old boys), so that is completely understandable. The feeling of the robe is incredible soft and plush. It amazes me how different microfiber can feel when used in different ways (ie a cloth diaper microfiber insert does not feel like this robe, at least I’ve never felt an insert this plush or soft).

The robe does have a thicker part near the neck to make a nice, fluffy collar. The shoulders width actually fit a lot better than I expected, but there was definitely a ton of room for an older child to expand in.

What made me chuckle a little is that this robe has little loops along the waist for the tie. I have them in my robe, but I did not know if a little kids robe would be deemed as needing them. Well, they’re there, and the tie for the robe is incredibly long, and made out of the same soft and plush material.

Overall, I’ve been pretty impressed with this robe, and I do plan on buying another so that when bath time is done, instead of waiting for one to be done with the robe while the other is still in the water, I can give them both a soft and fuzzy robe to wear.
