I want to start by saying what app you need to use, so you don't have to wonder. It took me 5-10 minutes to figure which app I actually needed. It's called iTracing. After the app is installed, this is a really nice little tracking device. It picks up wherever my keys might be hidden. It also helps me take pictures without my phone or using a selfie stick (which my phone is too big for most of those anyway). I've been really pleased with this, and the beeping is just loud and annoying enough that once you here it, you'll know exactly where it is (getting to it is another matter, like when your keys get swallowed by the couch). For around ten bucks though, being able to find your keys quickly is a life saver (how well I know that, after spending hours hunting for keys when I had an appointment to keep... which I missed).
