I want to start out by saying this is kinda uncomfortable. And by kinda, I mean you are going to want to throw this thing off at the end of wearing it. I would strongly suggest actually working up to wearing it for any length of time. That being said, the material actually works really well both ways. In my picture and video, I have it on backwards (long day). It does work either way, and there isn’t too much of a comfort difference between the two different ways. At least, not enough for me to notice!

Adjusting the posture corrector can be a little bit challenging. You will want to have it on the setting you need when you slip it on, or else you will need someone to help adjust it for you once you are wearing it. Either way works, but it is definitely easier if you have someone help adjust it for you. Taking it off, same thing. It can be done by yourself, but it is loads easier to have someone else help take it off. So I definitely recommend with this posture corrector for there to be a  team effort involved (not that it is 100% necessary).

The posture corrector can be worn both underneath clothing and over clothing. In my picture and video, I am wearing it over a camisole, but I was also wearing a shirt on top of it. No one noticed that I was wearing it, which was really nice.

Overall, I definitely have been pleased with the posture corrector. I can not stress enough though, work up to wearing it for any decent length of time. You will be sore enough with short stretches of time at first!

The nail care kit comes with 3 parts. There is the part that makes this an electric kit, the smoothing tool. Then there are the toe spreaders. Finally, there is a pretty heavy duty set of nail clippers.

The electronic nail buffer has 3 different heads that you can use. Ideally, you would go through the varying degrees of roughness, from roughest to smoothest. This helps your nails get the buff and shine that you are after if you are using this. It takes AA batteries but it does come with one provided so you can get to smoothing and buffing right off the bat. There is a cap to put on the buffer so that nothing gets damaged. I would recommend keeping the little case that the buffers come in, just to keep them organized and not loose, rolling around who knows where.

I had some fun with the toe spreaders. Granted, I’ve never really played with, I mean used, toe spreaders before. So it was definitely a unique experience. They are really squishy and a bit sticky. If you have toddlers, the toe spreaders will keep them entertained for hours! 😉

Lastly, there is the set of clippers. The base of the clippers is wide and has a texture to it, making it easier to grasp onto. The logo is blazed on the clippers as well as the buffer, but it is not obnoxious about doing so.

This is a different fitness tracker. There is not much information to go with it, so I did have to figure out some stuff on my own. The band doesn’t want to stay paired to the app (once you find the app), so you will have to manually go in and set it. So far though, I haven’t really noticed anything negative aside from that. It has worked well at keeping the time, which is one of the big reasons I wanted something like this. Not only to have a calorie counter, but to be able to check the time without pulling out my phone.

Melloneat Melon Slicer Set

The Melloneat melon slicer set comes with two melon slicers and a strawberry huller. I know in the video I call it a decorer but the technical term is “huller.” Each piece is individually wrapped inside the box pictured below.

The strawberry huller is pretty simple to operate. You just squeeze down on the button, which opens the jaws of the little device. You then place it around the leaves of the strawberry and let it slide shut, thus removing the leaves from the fruit of the strawberry.

The melon slicers themselves are pretty slick. The blades aren’t very sharp, but each blade is different. One side has teeth, the other has holes. The blades are kept a uniform width apart by a thin piece of metal at the tip, although applying pressure does make the blades go closer to one another. This makes it so not only can you slice the melon out of the fruit (or apparently use it on cake), but you can flip the melon slicer over and grab the piece you just sliced by closing the sides around the food.

The mini foam water guns sold on Amazon come as a set of 4, with an extra bonus of a beach ball. I want to start off by saying that the mini foam water guns do work quite well at squirting water. My biggest issue with them however is how easy they are to flake the foam off. Not even a week of having them and the foam peeled off (mostly from my cat attacking them but some of it was not all because of my cat). That being said, I actually like the mini foam water guns sans foam. They fit my toddlers’ hands a lot better now, and they dry off a lot quicker.

The pumping action of the water guns is pretty smooth until the end of drawing water up into it. It does have a little bit of a jerk towards the end, but nothing that diminishes the amount of water it holds.

Overall, with the mini foam water guns, I am pleased with how well they work, even if I know have mini foam water guns without the foam any longer.

Also included is a beach ball. I like that something else is included with this, even if it is a token beach ball. I don’t know about anyone else, but my toddlers love beach balls. They’re easy to bat around and they’re big and colorful. This beach ball has seemed to hold air pretty well, I only have to touch it up with air every few days to keep its firm, round shape. So I actually am pretty happy with the beach ball.

The collapsible wine flasks made by Jokel are a very beautiful red color. I love the fact that the wine flasks also come with accessories, namely, I love the funnel. It does come with a multi-purpose tool, with a knife and a corkscrew. Below is the packaging that it came in.

Below I have everything laid out that comes in the listing on Amazon. I do want to point out how flat the funnel is right now. The very tip of the funnel does stick out a little bit, but it is otherwise pretty flat.

On to the meat of the review. Pictured below are the two wine flasks that come in the set. Each one has a screw on top and can hold 750 mL of liquid. A lot of wine bottles do actually come in 750 mL, but this can be used for any liquid. If you want water, or some other liquid to take with you, this would certainly be a lot easier to pack and carry around than a couple of bottles of water of the same (or relative) volume.

Next, pictured below is the funnel. Is is a very vivid blue and is easy to pop out and pop back together. It does have a little piece sticking out on the edge of the fattest part to allow you to clip the funnel to something.

Finally, the last piece in the set is the multi-purpose tool. It has a corkscrew, a knife, a bottle opener on either end. The knife is pretty sharp and the cork screw works well. I did share a bottle of wine with my husband over the course of a few days, and we used the collapsible wine flasks to store the wine in-between meals so that way it wouldn’t roll around like it normally does in the refrigerator.

Overall, I really like the set. Two flasks that hold a nice amount of liquid (does not have to be wine), a multi-purpose tool, and a collapsible funnel. Great for on-the-go. I would definitely recommend this little set.

Skinny Ties are useful for many occasions. One being an event where someone would need to coordinate ties might be a wedding. I did choose the black color because that goes the best with my husband’s day to day doings. However, having 5 ties of a solid color, ranging from apple green, bridal pink, orange and even seafoam, the variety of colors is astounding.

The ties come with a rubber band around them to keep them together, but it does not wrinkle them. Above are the five skinny ties that I received when they were still in the packaging and together. Below is a single tie still in the packaging, which shows how the tie is double on itself while inside the plastic sleeve.

The tie once out of the packaging is extremely soft and well-made. The tie gives off a nice sheen while sliding across the finger tips. Personally, I like having 5 of the same tie for the pure fact that when my husband needs a tie to go with something, he usually spends more time matching a tie to his outfit than he does picking out the outfit. A plain, sleek black tie goes with just about everything though. He can keep one in the car, one at his office at work, one in his suitcase and the others at home, at the ready.

Overall I have definitely been impressed with the quality of the ties, and I love the fact that you can either order 5 of one color, or you can customize it so you can choose 5 completely colors if you want. I do definitely recommend these.

The Ozeri pedometer is definitely different than other pedometers that I have used. There are a lot more functions on the pedometer than others, of course, most of the ones I have used I have gotten at a school event.

I want to start by mentioning, getting the thing up and running took a little bit more than I expected. There is a pull tab underneath the battery that will need to be removed. I had to remove the battery to get the pull tab out from underneath the battery. The battery is spring-loaded so it did take a bit putting back into its little area, but the cover is easy enough to remove and replace which I like.

There are seven functions to the pedometer.  It records (I pulled this off of the packaging):

1. Dual Walking & Jogging Modes


2. Steps to Goal


3. Fat Burned


4. Exercise Time


5. Calories


6. Distance


7. Speed

It is pretty easy to set up. The instructions for the pedometer were pretty easy to follow and I had it set up in less than 2 minutes. I love that it has such a high counter (it claims to record up to one million steps, I have not tested it quite to that limit yet.

I have not had any issues with this pedometer yet, I love seeing how much I actually do walk (or jog to catch up with my twins). I also want to mention, it is very secure in its clip, something that is paramount to being accurate with toddlers’ little fingers trying to grab onto everything.

Overall, two thumbs up. I definitely would recommend this, it is pretty easy to use and I love how it works.

I honestly love the Ozeri brand. This is the first wok I’ve gotten, and it definitely is different than the pans that Ozeri has. The pans have a honeycomb texture on the bottom of the pan, whereas the wok has a smooth texture to it. Even with the smooth texture, Ozeri still gives the wok a beautiful finish and it really is non-stick. I put it to the test the other day (or should I say that my twin toddlers put it to the test). I was cooking in it, and let it sit a little too long. On other brands, I would worry that I would have had charred chicken stuck to the bottom of the pan/skillet/wok. Not so with this, it still moved freely and I did not have any charred and burnt on bits to deal with afterwards.

Below I have pictured a Thai curry with lobster. This was the perfect way to cook such a soupy meal. I did have rice cooking in a rice cooker, but this handled the Thai curry perfectly. I scored on Target that week, with 50% off lobster and about 60% off a simmer sauce for Thai curry.

Washing this was a piece of cake too. Not only did it stand up to my scatterbrained cooking, but it also was very easy to clean. No elbow grease required, just a little hot water and some soap and it was ready to go again. I definitely would recommend the Ozeri brand, this wok has just furthered my belief that they are amazing and high quality. (Keep in mind, I actually gave a skillet away as a wedding gift a few short months ago!)

This is definitely an interesting item. It is used by doing one good spray into the mouth and swirling the mixture around the teeth and gums with your tongue. The t-spray delivers a decent burst of spray when pressed down on, which allows for even adult mouths to be fully coated. It does say 2 and up but I have only tested this on myself and my husband.

The flavor that I chose was green tea. There are two other flavors, cool mint and cranberry. I normally would have chosen the cool mint, but I went out on a limb and got the green tea. While I certainly think if I were to buy this again, I would go with the cool mint, I have to say the green tea was not what I was expecting. I would not recommend this in conjunction with anything that might make your burp (like soda pop), but it does well at helping ease my bad breath and I feel like my mouth does have a more clean feeling after using it. This did tackle lasagna the other day, and while it did not completely cover it up with one spray, it did diminish the bad breath quite a bit.

Overall, I definitely would recommend this, but I would say stick with the cool mint unless you’re daring. I do like the green tea, but I think next time I’ll choose the safer route and go cool mint.

The pictures in this Amazing Reef coloring book are absolutely gorgeous. Not only do the pictures have an abundance of lines to make intricate designs, but the designs are actually photographs that have been washed away so that the individual can dictate what colors go where.

The coloring book has pictures on one side of the paper and blank on the other, so you do not have to worry about the coloring from one picture show through on another.

The Amazing Reef coloring book itself is pretty thin, but it definitely has enough to keep someone entertained for hours, especially if they follow all the little tiny details that fill the pages.

The pages themselves are not the thickest pieces of paper in the world, but they do well even when applying pressure with my colored pencils. I showed the coloring book blank in my video, but it was very hard not diving right in (pun intended) to the ocean filled pictures.

I definitely like this little coloring book. It does not hold a lot of pages, but each page has a lot of attention to detail. It’s cute and I would recommend it for the ocean loving people out there.

The Ozeri pepper grinder is an electric grinder that has 3 settings. The pepper grinder takes 6 AAA batteries, which you can access or change by taking off the top piece by twisting. After you get inside just squeeze the two pieces that are sticking out at the bottom to pull the battery compartment out. Be careful when replacing the newly changed batteries back into the body of the grinder, the button is very sensitive and will set off if bumped.

The grinder does hold a decent amount of peppercorn. I was actually surprised at how much it could hold. The compartment is easy enough to fill, and you can easily see when you are getting close to being full. I would recommend leaving a little more space than you would think since you need to reattach the top to the compartment, and the two pieces that you use to pull the battery compartment out do stick out a bit from the bottom.

The grinder does not sit entirely flat when upright, the grinder sticks out just a tiny bit. It does manage to stand up though, it just is a little bit wobbly.

Changing the different settings for the grinding, whether you want fine grounds or rougher, large pieces, is dictated by the little silver push pieces on the side below the glass compartment. I personally prefer the smallest setting, but the larger does have its perks. When switching between the settings I would recommend turning the grinder upside down, running it for a second or two, then shaking out the bits that have been ground. The grinder does not want to switch settings if there is peppercorn stuck between the part that grinds, and doing what I mentioned helps clear it so that you can switch it pretty easily.

Below is pictured the peppercorn that has been ground by the Ozeri pepper grinder. It does have the three different settings all shown in the glass. It really is simple to operate, and the button pushes very easily and starts spitting out the ground pepper pretty quickly.

Overall, I definitely would recommend this pepper grinder. I do want to mention, it does seem somewhat stubborn sometimes getting it to come apart, for say changing the battery or adding more peppercorns, but other than that, I wholeheartedly recommend this. I have not had it very long to see how long the batteries last, but if it is an issue, I would recommend using rechargeable batteries, especially since you use 6 AAA batteries at a time.

This post is going to be a little unusual. I am starting right off the bat that this is not a complete post. I plan on updating with another video, so that there are two, yes two, videos for the RainbowGlow face and body paint. I wanted to go over right now the paint itself and how it is presented. I will update in a few days when I get over my fever and feel ok to show my face again.

Included in this set are several paints, a brush, instructions, aaand… Glitter! Yes there is glitter in this. The shiny foil square on the right of the paints is actually glitter. Do not investigate this unless you want to get glitter everwhere when you open the foil for the first time.

The paints themselves are very bold and vibrant. It does not take a lot to get them to apply to the skin. Just a bit of water and in the paint square and you’re good to go. Cleanup is also a breeze, since all you need is some soap and water. Nothing extremely complicated about using it or cleaning up. I haven’t noticed any staining of my skin while using this, but I have not had it very long. When I update this, I will wear it for an elongated time and see what the results are. I hope you follow this in a few days, I would love to know your thoughts!

I think the video below shows best my results, instead of listing each picture individually. It’s a 23 second video that shows before and after pictures with using just one wrap of the Slimmin Suzie. The sample that I got came with several packages as shown directly below, and some wraps, which are reusable.

The wraps are pretty easy to apply. I want to say, put the clay powder into the bowl that you are using before you add the water. If you don’t, you will have a huge mess on your hands. It still works, it just will drip the entire time you are wearing the wrap.

After the wrap was applied, and I got all wrapped up in the cellophane wrap, I basically sat in the bathtub the first time and relaxed with a book (because I added the water before the clay and was dripping). Even going about it the wrong way, I did see results. I saw an inch shaved off everywhere that the wrap had been applied, some areas a little more than that even.

I do think that this has helped somewhat kick start my stomach into getting back into shape. The muscles on my stomach were just so stretched it was hard to do anything with them. It’s been an uphill process with the muscles regaining strength, but the firming of the skin I think was a relief to them.

I want to briefly touch on how my skin felt afterwards. It did feel really silky and smooth, something I was happy about. Stretch marks cover my stomach, so having smooth skin there is usually incredibly hard to have. I have really enjoyed these wraps all around, even more so when I mixed the water and powder together the right way.

My personal results are: the wraps do work, although they might be a temporary fix for most.

This is a really powerful little beard oil by Beardeur. The bottle may be on the small side for beard oil bottles, but I feel that my husband has to use less of this beard oil than others that he has tried. A  few little drops of this and it will coat his entire beard. One dropper full is complete overkill, at least for his beard, which is thick, curly, and a few inches long. Or I should say, it was. I was not able to snap a picture or a video of his beard in all its glory, it has recently got wacked due to it becoming warmer.

The box itself is pretty elegant. It has the label Beardeur proudly proclaimed on practically every side. It houses the beard oil well, for it arrived safe and sound (with a ton of packaging around it as well).

Overall, I definitely think this is a nice beard oil. It does say it is unscented, and it is not, it has a very strong and pure scent to it. There is nothing to make it scented other than the ingredients necessary to make the beard oil.

I would recommend this beard oil, a little goes a long way with this beard oil, and it has worked really well for my husband’s wild beard.

This is a very beautiful heart pendant. One thing I love about this pendant is how it looks, both from the front and from the back. The front gleams with the large stone set by the smaller ones around it. The back however has a metallic sheen to it, which I personally think is very pretty.

The heart pendant is a lot bigger than I was expecting. It is not huge by any means, but it is definitely very eye-catching. I have really enjoyed this necklace, and while I am not usually one for purple, the deep rich color of the stone is amazing.

The weight on the pendant is a lot more than I was expecting as well. It does not have a cheap feel to it, it feels like if I were to actually pick up a stone this size, not something made of plastic.

The chain that the pendant is on is pretty nice, it is definitely not a long chain. It works for emphasizing the pendant though, bringing it close to the neck. So far I have not had any issues with the chain kinking, something I always worry about when I get a new necklace.

The breakout factor. I am allergic to some metals, and I have not had any allergic reactions to this pendant yet. That fact right there makes me really happy. I did want to mention it, because I know sometimes that is one thing I look for in a review on a necklace or a pendant, and it seems to be missing most of the time.

In my opinion, the massage ball is the best part out of this set. The ball is purchased separately from the DVD, and quite frankly it’s all that you need. The ball itself is incased in a hard plastic with a rubberized grip around the middle for easy grasping. The ball has a shiny blue tint to it, with swirls in the ball to give it a unique look.

Using the ball is pretty simple. Just use it where it hurts, and rub. It is a lot easier on the fingers and hands using this to give a massage, and it digs deeper than just thumbs can do.

The DVD I was not too impressed with. It did have some useful stretches and tips that I think are nice, but honestly I could have winged using the massage ball and gotten the same effect. If you like having someone else walk you through the correct technique, this is a decent DVD, and it is slow enough that someone can follow along while using the ball, but fast enough that it is not boring.

Thoughts Overall

Overall, I definitely would recommend the massage ball, it has been really nice to use, both on myself and having another use on me. It digs in deeper than my fingers can and does not cause strain on my hands. The DVD I would recommend only for those who want step by step instructions on how to use the massage ball, but if you have the general idea of massages then you should be fine without it.

This is some pretty solid colored paper. Included in this one small package is 25 colors and 100 total sheets of colored paper. It is sized at 29 3/2″ X 19 1/2″, which means it is perfect for using as stuffing in a gift bag, or to even wrap smaller presents.

Each sheet is pretty durable and allows for a lot more force to be applied than I was expecting. It does still get the rumpled look when used as gift wrapping, but it is definitely durable enough to be able to be used as such.

Personally, I like using bags and fluffing up the rest of the bag with this paper. Still no tearing, but the crinkly and fluffy aspect of the paper is ripe for filling in all that extra space and adding flair to a bag.

Overall, I have enjoyed using this colored paper and as of right now, would definitely recommend it. I always seem to have some event that I need to wrap a gift for, so having this on hand to quickly wrap something or add a little bit of flair to a gift bag is extremely nice.

The Vetra water bottle is definitely not the average water bottle. At first glance, it does appear to look like every other free water bottle that I have had handed out to me while journeying around on campus. The body is pretty nondescript in shape, and it only has a little bit printed on to the body of the bottle.

The lid at first glance seems pretty normal, until you look at it again. The lid is completely stationary, there is nothing to pop open or flip open, it is just there. It actually appears to work like a sippy cup, where suction or pressure needs to be exerted on the mouth piece to get liquid to flow through. I show in the video below that the water bottle does not leak when turned upside down unless pressure is exerted on the body of the water bottle.

It actually is really easy to apply suction to the Verta water bottle and get liquid, it certainly is a lot easier than trying to get anything from my toddler’s sippy cups! My toddlers did not have any issues with this, so I definitely think it is an easy to use water bottle, but it certainly has a unique design.

Overall, I definitely would recommend this water bottle. While at first glance, it looks like every other water bottle I’ve gotten for free, it has a unique design to the lid that makes it stand far above the rest.

The reflectiveness is extremely nice, since the best time to take the dog out seems to be after dark (not as many people out and about and he gets so excited about people!).

Construction Toy Tools Review

The construction toy tools are pretty cute. It comes with 4 screws, 4 nuts, 2 plates, 1 multi-tool, a file, and construction apparel. The construction apparel consists of a nose mask, goggles, and a construction hat. Each piece barring the two tools is a very bright yellow, fitting with the construction theme. The handle for the file is red, and the multi tool is gray. The four screws are black and the 4 nuts are gray.

Construction Hat

The construction hat does not have really any way to secure onto the child (or adult’s head) but it does seem to stay somewhat well. I know it makes it easy for my twins to take it off of each other’s heads though!

Construction Goggles

These looked so cute on both my twins. But I think what elicited the greatest of laughs was when I wore this, they both could not stop laughing at me. It was a snug fit around my head, definitely suited for more of a toddler sized head such as my twins, but it definitely fit well. Easy to see out of, but smudges a little bit easier than I expected.

Construction Mask

This was a piece that we had fun with. We did more “Star Wars” impersonations than anything else with this mask, I think the concept of this was more funny for the adults, both of my toddlers were just kind of confused over this piece.

Construction Toy Tools – The Tools

Plates

The plates gives a way to secure the screws and nuts once they have been tightened. The perfect size, and the plates allow for multiple combinations with the screws instead of just 4 holes to equal the 4 screws. I will say, the rectangular plate was a little bit bent upon arrival, but it did not affect the play ability of the plates.

Screws and Nuts

There are 4 screws and 4 nuts. I have only 3 nuts pictured because my cat decided one of them was a toy and who knows where it ended up. So I can say that this set has been fun for the entire family, because not only did the toddlers and the parents have fun, but the cat had fun losing pieces for us!

Multi-Tool

The multi-tool has 3 ends. A flat head, a Phillips, and another end. I’d never really dealt with the third end, but my husband says it’s the same style as if you were changing a tire (something I have not ever really done). All 3 ends worked well with the screws and the nuts  and the handles were short, perfect for little toddlers’ hands.

File

This piece is more for show than anything else. It does have a bit of a scritchy noise to it when my finger nail is run along it, but other than that, it is just a pretty little piece of plastic. The file does detach from the handle, but it truly is the odd piece out in this set.

Overall, it has been a nice set, I know the twins have enjoyed playing with it (with supervision) and the adults, even the cat have enjoyed it too. I do recommend this set.

Birthstone Necklace Review

My birthstone is sapphire. So naturally, I chose the vivid blue sapphire as my birthstone necklace on the listing. I want to start by saying, this is more a choker than a necklace. When I think of a necklace, I think of something that drapes down and at least goes a little bit past my collar bone.

The Amazon listing does have all 12 months listed (although they are in alphabetical, not chronological order). It comes in 2 other colors besides the birthstones, aurora boreal and vitrial medium. Both are stones that change color depending on the lighting.

The birthstone necklace that I received, September is very pretty in my opinion. It also has a hefty weight to it. I was expecting this necklace to be dainty and frail, but no, this necklace fills up a good portion of my palm and feels very solid.

The chain that the necklace comes with is as I said, more a choker length than a necklace length. I do like the chain though, except for one little part. The chain link that is in the back, that is supposed to help keep the back of the necklace in the back (I don’t know the correct terminology) has a little bit of a snag. It was a pretty easy fix, but one of the links look liked it was not supposed to be there. It had been clipped yet was still attached to the chain, causing two little points to jut from it. I found it easy enough to remove but I just wanted to caution on it before you wear it, it can be a bit prickly if you happen to have one with an extra little bit of link that should have been removed.

Overall, it is a very beautiful birthstone necklace. It has a hefty weight to it, and it is a decent size. The chain is more choker length than necklace length. I do definitely recommend this, the September necklace that I received is absolutely gorgeous and pictures do not do it justice.
