100% Pure Jojoba Oil [Certified Organic] Review

Jojoba has many uses. The most common thing I have heard of for it is to be used as a carrier oil, similar to coconut. However, jojoba works completely different than coconut. Jojoba works by imitating the skin's natural oil, sebum. So when used as a carrier oil, mixing it with an essential oil say such as peppermint or lavender, you can get a wonderful massage.

Jojoba can also be used to help with managing hair, such as frizziness. Just put a little tiny bit in your hair when it is damp to help combat the frizz.

his oil can be used as a moisturizer, making your skin incredibly soft. I like honestly just getting a drop or two and putting it on my lips to hydrate them. I feel like this has a much longer effect on my lips (hydration-wise) than my different chapstick brands.

You can use jojoba to remove make-up, cleanse your face, and moisturize all in one! Just a little bit goes a long way, and once you are done removing your make-up, just clean your face up with this, rinse it off, and put a little bit more on your face to moisturize it. It really does work as simple as that, and I do believe that this has helped my acne settle down.

This one is important for my husband. To help with shaving, just use a little of this to help minimize razor burn. He uses this for his beard, when he needs to shave it off. I have noticed that the razor burn is far less noticeable when he uses this versus when he does not.

You can check out this jojoba oil on their website HERE or on Amazon HERE.

Burger Press Review

One thing I've always had issues with is having a consistent-sized patty when making burgers. Even though I feel like I make them the same, I will end up with ones that look like pancakes while others look like balls. Ok, that might be a slight exaggeration, but only slight. This is super easy to use, and super easy to clean. I love how you can literally just pop this into the dishwasher, let it run and it come out spotless. It did make me laugh, one of the instructions on the instruction guide was to remove the instructions. I felt that one was unnecessary since you had to remove the instructions to read that in the first place!

The patties that came out from this burger press were definitely uniform is height and width, and all perfectly round. I did have a little bit of issue at first with getting the meat packed in to make it uniform, but I got better with practice! By the end of the cooking session the patties were all becoming quite uniform. This makes me happy because this might be the very first summer of no burnt patties!

You can check out this burger press on their website HERE.

Chew-Choos 'Sweet pea' Silicone Teething Necklace Review + Giveaway

I wish that I hadn't been so hesitant to try teething necklaces sooner. My twins both love them! This is a great little necklace, it has enough beads that when a baby gets bored with one bead, there is another dry one waiting for their eager mouth. This has withstood their tug of war games, so it has to have some pretty decent durability. I love all the colors that are available, I had chosen black because it can go with almost anything, but I am heavily eyeing the blue one, it is quite a pretty color. One of my twins has two teeth currently, and not a mark is on the beads, which I'm grateful for, because other toys are already showing the graze marks of baby teeth. The clasp is quite secure, it takes a decent amount of tugging to get it to unclasp (at least tugging from babies, purposefully undoing the clasp is simple and easy if you tug right beside it). I prefer this style of teething necklace I think, because there is enough to keep the baby interested in the beads, but not so much that it looks like a gaudy piece of jewelry. I think the amount of silicon beads on the necklace are just right.

You can check out this teething necklace on Amazon HERE or their website HERE.

Skinny Blend by Skinny Jane Review

Wow. I am blown away by this. I have had some issues in the past with not liking protein shakes (some of them were so bad I couldn't even keep them down). This was not the case however. I have gotten the vanilla so far, and I think the next time I get this I will try another flavor.

My eating habits haven't been the greatest lately, and I've been desperately trying to find a protein shake I like that I can replace meals with. I think this one might be it, I definitely haven't had any issues with taste and I haven't gotten tired of it yet! Even if I do, there are several flavors to use, I'm not too worried about not liking the taste of other flavors based on this one. So... Flavor... A+!

This protein shake goes down extremely well, the texture is a lot smoother than others that I have tried. I think that might have been my issue with other protein shakes, because I can usually handle the flavor as long as it doesn't just feel wrong going down. This shake did not have that issue though so for... Texture... A+!

I can say I definitely noticed a boost in my energy, it could just be that I haven't had protein shakes really work for me before I had tried this (I have tried several both before and after for comparisons sake) and I do think that this one does boost my energy at the same level or better in comparison to others. I definitely don't recommend this for the evening/night time unless you want to be up then, because being energetic when you want to sleep isn't the most fun time in the world. Great for the day though when I have to go go go. Energy... A.

Lunch Bag Hango - Set of Two Sizes (Small &Large) Review

There are two bags that come with this set, a large and a small. The large is 6x6x10 in, and the small is 5x5x7.5 in. The different sizes, while still being a set, let you separate food and beverage, or different foods. It also lets you choose what size is necessary, there are days when you just don't need the larger one, and there are days that the smaller one just doesn't cut it.

The quality of these bags are amazing, they are really durable. I've already put them through the test (albeit accidentally) and have had no issues. The inside keeps my food the temperature that I want it to stay at for a long time, and the zipper has held strong with even twins roughly playing with it.

When I ordered, I received the black set, however the pink seems to be really nice as well.

You can check these bags out on Amazon HERE.

Little SqueezeMe - Reusable Food Pouch Review + Giveaway

I've been testing these out for over a week now, and have not had any issues with these. They are definitely cute little food pouches, and I love how they are designed.

The fact that they can stand upright helps me out a lot, because in a hurry between twins, I don't get much time to think, I just do. I've had other food pouches where I have gone to set them down, and I haven't had the cap on all the way, and I've gotten baby food everywhere.

These are super easy to wash, I haven't had any issues with getting them completely clean and ready for the next go-round. As many small baby things that I have to wash, if I just toss them in some hot water, wait a bit (or more like appease my twins until nap time again), they get clean and I don't have to do much to get them that way.

There are lines telling you how much food there is in each pouch! I was so happy to see this, because I'm very attentive to how much my babies are eating, I'm always worrying about them getting too little. That is usually not the case but I still worry. This helps me portion out what they are eating though so it's not really an issue anymore.

You can use these for larger batches of baby food, so you don't have to worry about throwing anything away. I say this because you can freeze each pouch, so you can do 5 times what one pouch would hold, and then freeze it. You have five instant meals that are frozen. The fact that these can freeze too also means that you can use them as a temporary ice pack in a lunch, because by the time if gets to be unfrozen it should be about lunch time. So you get what is in the pouch unfrozen and you get the rest of what is in the lunch cold. This is great for like doctor's appointments, at least for me. Having twins means we don't always make it through doctor's appointments without them becoming hungry, and this way I can have a snack too while there.

These little pouches are BPA free! So happy about that, a lot of things are becoming that way, so much so that when products don't list that they are BPA-free I am wary.

You can find these food pouches at their website HERE or on Amazon HERE. You can also visit their Facebook HERE and their Instagram HERE

Pacifier Clip "Ladybird" Review

This is something my twins fight over. They both want the pacifier clip with the bright colors, and the wooden beads. The other gets a regular pacifier clip on a ribbon. This has a very strong clip on the end of it, I don't have to worry about it coming off like other pacifier clips I've used in the past (and trust me, I've gone through a bunch all ready).

As much as they have nommed this, the colors have started to fade some, but they are still pretty vibrant. I don't think that matters so much because they both focus on one area (instead of the pacifier sometimes), leaving the rest of it very brightly colored.

The spinning part that tightens and loosens to hold the binky is really stiff, I actually prefer to just loop the thread through one of the holes in the pacifier and slide the other end through. Also makes for a lot quicker binky exchange when they need swapped out.

My twins definitely approve, and I hope that other babies will too. I like it because they like it (simple as that right?).

You can check out this pacifier clip on Amazon HERE or their website HERE.

Bloom Baby Bottle Drying Rack by Stuff4Tots Review

Having twins, a bottle drying rack is a must just to keep everything from ending up everywhere. This easily holds several feedings worth, and I am not worried about it losing some of the pieces, unlike other bottle drying racks I have tried. The one I had been using right before this one is an Avent drying rack, and while it is nice, and has a drip tray, it is really bulky and pieces fall off it occasionally. I do not have that issue with this drying rack.

This drying rack is very cute, but cute is not the only reason why I like how it looks / how it is designed. This is easy to fold up, so on the off chance I have caught up with all my dishes, I can tuck this away so that it isn't taking up half of my counter.

I spend a lot of time at my parents' house since they are so close, and they love spoiling my twins. This is an amazing little tool that can be packed up and take up very little space, so I no longer have to worry about taking enough bottles to last the entire duration of the trip for fear of them not drying all the way. The amount of bottles I used to take no where equals the space that this and a few bottles take up.

You can check this baby bottle drying rack out on Amazon HERE or their website HERE.

Invivo Essential 4 Ounce Fractionated Coconut Oil Review

Coconut oil has so many uses, I could go on and on about them. I will highlight though what I have used this coconut oil for. I've used this as a massage oil, combining it with a couple of drops of my essential oils with them. I have also used this on my chapped hands when my knuckles were starting to crack. By the way, it's pretty amazing for re-hydrating your lips. This does not feel greasy at all, and I like the fact that it is a more compact 4 oz bottle. Yes, coconut oil is something I seem to be running out of a lot of the time, but I like this little bottle for on-the-go times. I can just put this in my purse, a couple of my essential essential oils, and if I don't have a blend made I can easily make one on the spot.

You can check this bottle of coconut oil out HERE (their website) or HERE (Amazon).

Midori Spring Matcha Green Tea Powder Review

I will start off by saying this smells amazing. Ok, that out of the way. When you first open this you will notice that it's got a pull tab. I was very grateful for this because I have issues with other types of mechanisms used to open cans of stuff. This powder is indeed very green (hence the word Midori, which is green in Japanese). They sure weren't kidding that you didn't have to use very much at all to get a lot of flavor, this was some seriously yummy tea. I have not tried using this for cooking, but as much as I like it this way, I might not use it for anything other than tea.

You can check out this matcha tea on Amazon HERE or their site HERE.

26 Piece Sketch & Drawing Pencils Set by Colore - Video

This 26 piece set is pretty cool. I had previously only dabbled in pencil and pen so getting to use this set was pretty fun for me. And the eraser that you could squeeze definitely was fun to play with. My first attempts with anything other than pencil are laughable, or I would show them to you. I wanted to show what the set looks like when in the package. It is a nice flat package that shows everything well. This set is really nice and I'm glad to have seen it because now I get to try things that I had not been able to previously.

I want to briefly mention what is inside this: 12 graphite pencils (varying grades of hardness), 1 soft graphite sketching pencil, 3 graphite and 3 charcoal sticks (soft, medium and hard), 1 sharpener and 1 plastic eraser (for graphites), 1 sharpener and 1 kneaded eraser (for charcoals)

You can check this 26 piece set by Colore on Amazon HERE.

Baltic Amber Teething Necklace - KG Baby Review

This necklace looks really nice on my babies' necks. It is not too long that it will fall off, and not too short that it will choke them. It has a nice clasp for easy removal, and I have noticed that the fussiness does lessen when this necklace is worn. This necklace looks good with almost anything my babies wear, and I definitely have fallen in love with amber necklaces. I only provided one of my babies for a picture, but this fit them both really nice. The coloring of the beads is beautiful, and definitely compliments their skin. I myself have worn amber necklaces, and I have definitely experienced lessened pain (I tried this both when I had a sinus infection and when I had a pretty bad headache). This necklace has different colored beads, which I think looks better when worn. I know that the coloring of the beads shows how strong/effective they are. This is a nice mix of both the "strong" beads and the more mild/mellow beads. The effects of the colors, to me personally, don't seem to be that great, however, to a baby, it could possibly be. This necklace is just as effective as some name brand necklaces that I have had my babies try, and those were the one color, full strength necklaces. I definitely recommend this for someone who wants to try to help their baby with teething without having to resort to teething tablets 24/7 for the duration of the teething process.

You can check out this product on Amazon HERE (I did not receive the silicon necklace, that was not an option when I ordered).

I have a deeper mattress than normal, because I wanted something that would last through the daybed years. This mattress protector had no issues covering my mattress, and some of my "deep" mattress protectors can't do that! I definitely like this, and I'm so glad that I got to test this out. It comes packaged nicely and is extremely lightweight.

Suction Bowl and Spoon for Baby / Toddler Review

This bowl is really nice at sticking to things, I have not had any issues with it staying put until I want to move it. And with a baby, that is something I definitely like. The spoon sits in the lid very snugly, and there is only one way to pull it out. Meaning no amount of tugging it any other way will work. You can only slide it in and out, it will not lift out.

This bowl is a nice pleasant color, I like how cheerful it is. Very, very easy to clean. Everything except the suction ring can be put in the dishwasher, and the ring just needs a quick rinse most times and it is good to go!

The lid holds food in securely, it takes more than a little bit of effort from me to get it open, so I am not worried.

This bowl will definitely get a lot of use, because not one, but two babies are currently starting more solid food!

You can see more about this product on Amazon HERE.

Priority Chef Knife Sharpener Review

This knife sharpener really does a good job! I like the fact that it has two different ways to sharpen the knife, it has a way to get dull knives to ok sharpness and then from there it can go to very sharp. The pad on the bottom of the knife sharpener keeps it from slipping everywhere, and when dealing with knives, that is a definite plus. I have not had any issues with this sharpener, all it has done is what is is supposed to do. It sharpens my knives, and it sharpens them well. This sharpener also fits my hand nicely, I do not feel like my fingers are stretching to hold onto it, nor do I feel like my hand is too big. I do have pretty small hands, but even my friend, with large hands, was able to use this comfortably. I have no complaints, and the price is definitely nice. Definitely worth getting this and extending the life of my knives than buying new knives every time they go dull! This is definitely a lot better than any other knife sharpener that I have gotten from Amazon before, that is for sure!

You can check out this knife sharpener on Amazon HERE or their website HERE.

La Vida Essentials Coconut Oil

I got to test and review this fractionated coconut oil, and I honestly am blown away by the quality of different oils that I have received. This oil definitely fits that, the scent is very minimal, and it acts as a great carrier oil. It mixes well with my essential oils and makes for an awesome massage. I am falling in love with essential oils and coconut oil! This is a really good oil, there are so many out there, but this one definitely is great. The uses are endless for coconut oil, I have seen everything from helping teeth to ailments, I personally just really enjoy coconut oil as a carrier oil though. I love massages and anything that will enhance one has a big seal of approval. I do think this oil mixes well with all of my essential oils, I have not had any issues so far, and I doubt that I will.

Once again I am showing some of the different uses of coconut oil above.

You can check them out on Amazon HERE.
