Sleepace® Reston Bluetooth 4.0 Sleep Monitor Sensor Indoor 10M Support IOS Android System Review

From the get-go, I was impressed with the presentation of this product. Even my dad was impressed, saying "the packaging almost looks almost like that of Apple." My dad holds Apple on a pedestal, so that is HIGH praise coming from him. The foam surrounding the sleep monitor, the instructions, and the charging cable, was extremely dense. The outside of the box was sleek. I had to agree that the packaging was spot on with making the product appear high quality from just the packaging itself.

When you first pull the Sleepace from the box, you'll notice that the monitor, while on prominent display, has a very long strap attached to it. The strap is coiled on itself, with a strap of Velcro holding it in its firm coil. I like that this used velcro, so I am able to reuse it, for if I were to move it from say my normal place, my bed, to somewhere else, such as when I'm visiting family over the holidays. When coiled, the monitor and strap are very compact, so it is very portable. You can also use a regular micro USB cable to charge, so it isn't a big necessity to take the original charging cable that it comes with (unless you're an Apple user). Included also are the instructions, which include a QR code to use in the app itself, and a micro USB charging cord.

Installation is sooo easy. You just put this on where it would be chest level under your sheet, with the monitor itself hanging over the edge of bed. I then just keep the part that is magnetic on, on the off position. Switching it from on to off is as easy as sliding the magnet off, and switching it around and replacing it. Charging is easy as well, I use a longer cord than comes with it, and charge it while it is still under the sheet, rather than fight with the sheet just to put it back on the bed a very short time later. When you pair with Bluetooth, pair within the app itself. That is the only hiccup I found, is if you try to pair with this outside of the app.

This measures so much data! A lot of it is spot on with other things I have used in the past, there are just a few times where my heart rate hasn't been what I expected it to be. However could have been some harrowing dream that I don't remember, I know that I have woke up with my heart pounding before so it isn't entirely out of the realm of possibility of being accurate. I love using it, and even if the numbers are slightly off, they seem to be consistent, to measuring over time will give me a baseline and if something drastic changes, I'll know about it!

Pros:
*Brilliant packaging
*Easy to take while traveling
*Easy installation / charging

Cons:
*Only pairs within the app
*Sometimes appears inaccurate data is collected, but not normally
