There is so much going on with this toy. I'm actually kind of jealous, where was this when I was a kid? I mean, seriously? I would have had a blast with this!
This is incredibly realistic. I mean, granted, I'm probably not going to see the colors that this has in a car, but it has a ton of aspects about a car. It has a shifter, it has the ignition key, it has a horn, it has a REFLECTIVE mirror (can't lie I was excited about that, best part it isn't a warped mirror either!), it has a turn signal and it also has a button for music. My twins will be able to drive a car before they've even started school!
Ok, so this is recommended for littler kids, 18 months and up. Even at the ripe ol' age of 18 months, needing something with a strong suction, that won't knock over with the first charge through, is crucial. This has withstood far more force with the suction that I thought it would, which is really pleasing to me.
After the first initial attempt at toddler bowling ball (the toddler being the ball and the toy being the pin), they soon figured out how this worked, with practically no prompting from me. This has enough bells and whistles to keep both of them entertained, dare I say it, on the SAME toy! That doesn't happen very often right now, so I was ecstatic over that fact.
I might, just might have mentioned by now I have twins. Well, that means that this toy has to be put through a lot of use and abuse. It's held up to everything that has been thrown at it (I mean that literally, it's handled a ton of other toys being thrown at it during "clean up"). So I have no issues in saying that this toy, unless there's something wrong with the individual product, can withstand quite a bit. Mine has at least!
Pros:
*Realistic
*Strong suction
*Highly interactive
*Sturdy
Cons:
*Wasn't around when I was a kid! (Ok, not a con, just something I wish I had had!)
Overall, I really have enjoyed this, and I know as much fun as I've had tinkering with this, my twins have enjoyed it even more!
