I know I keep calling it a construct power set, but it's a take-a-part and a construct. There are three ways they provide for tightening or loosening the screws. There is a power tool, but there also are two hand tools.
With the power tool, you can flip a switch on the underside of the tool to change which direction it spins. You can swap out either of the heads, the flat head or the screw driver head, with any of the three ways to tighten / loosen the screws. The power tool is the only part that needs batteries, and it takes 2 AA.
All of the screws do look like screws, which made me pretty happy. All of the screws work better with the screw driver head, but the flat head works just as well. It's simple enough to take this apart and put it back together. When you completely disassemble this, there are a ton of little parts, which make this not entirely suitable for younger toddlers.
Pros:
*Easy to use
*Quick to assemble / disassemble
*Realistic
*Can be played with fully assembled or just as an assembly toy
Con:
*Small pieces not suitable for younger children (not really a con, just a caution)
I do want to apologize for my video once again, when I get an idea in my head over what something is named, it's hard for me to change the thought process until afterwards. Please don't hold that against this really neat little toy, it's been a blast to work with, and it's great for teaching my twins how things go together and are taken apart.
