This is a lot smaller bib than I was expecting. Most bibs that I see are several inches wider at the base, but being smaller means that it will fit even the smaller babies. I've been using this for a while now, and it's perfect for my boy who loves to carry around his cheerios in this. It holds food (and toys) quite well, it's got a decently stiff mouth. It is a pain in the butt though unfastening and refastening this the first 100 or so times, but after that it seems like the silicone allows more a little easier movement while still being toddler proof. It was a bit frustrating putting it on the first time, but as often as he wants to wear it, I got quite good at taking it on and off quite quickly. I love how this just needs to be wiped down, it doesn't have to go in the washing machine to become clean, just a little soapy water and some rubbing (depending on how long it's been sitting, which for me usually isn't very long), and it's good as new and ready to go for the next go-round.
